This spellbinding series of adventures of Erik the Viking is dramatically reminiscent of the Great Nordic Sagas but with Terry's slightly quirky twist.
Each chapter forms a complete story in itself, and the landscape of myth and legend is illustrated perfectly by Michael Foreman with exquisitely atmospheric black and white illustrations.
As Erik and his brave band of men adventure forth their courage, strength, skill, wit and intelligence will be tested to the utmost.
A truly thrilling story especially for any young person interested in the Vikings and Norse Saga.

Author Bio & Publication
Author Bio & Publication
Terry Jones 1942 - 1920 was born in Wales.
He is perhaps more commonly remembered as being a member of the Monty Python Team including John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Graham Chapman and Eric Idle, as well as being a script editor and writer working with the BBC and a famous film director.
The Saga of Erik the Viking was written by Terry in 1983 for his son Bill and he later directed a film adaptation starring Tim Robbins.
Famously when asked how he wanted to be remembered rather than referring to his time with Monty Python Team instead he expressed the following preference: “Maybe a description of me as a writer of children’s books or maybe as the man who restored Richard II’s reputation. I think those are my best bits.”
Book is Illustrated by Michael Foreman.
