This adorable little old Ladybird book tells a tale about a cute Penguin Family. The first day of the Summer Holidays has started and the Penguin boys are determined to have fun!

This book was written in the 1942 and the unexpected story line has the naughty Penguins decide to go for a jaunt joy-riding on a motorcycle! Fun nostalgic illustrations with the old Triumph style motorcycle.

Of course they learn a valuable lesson as they get into a bit of a scrape but all ends well.

Cute little cautionary tale for children, Ladybird Series 401 less commonly found favourite classic story.

This is fresh from the attic in very good vintage condition.

Some shelfwear and rubbing to the edges of the boards but all the pages are clean and not overly thumbed, just a few minor wrinkles.

Child's name written in biro to preliminary page otherwise free from graffiti or inscriptions.

Matt boards are clean and good. A small mark to reverse of the book where a price label has once been removed but the rest of the book is lovely.
