Super Vintage Ladybird Children's Book 'The Ladybird Book of Toys and Games to Make'.

Fun vintage Ladybird book of toys and games to make. These books were much loved by young children as they show a selection of nostalgic little home made toys that the children could actually make themselves using objects from around the home. Including simple French Knitting from an old Cotton Bobbin and and loads of other ingenious ideas.

One of only two titles issued at the time in series 663 the other being 'Things to Make'.

Projects also include a working tractor, a tank, cargo boat, a revolving crane and a magic wallet! Perhaps the man in your life remembers some of these toys from his childhood! Or you can have fun showing the grandchildren some of the things that passed for toys in the 1970's.

Perfect book for entertaining your children through the summer holidays although all the creations would need to be done under the supervision of a parent and most likely not pass today's safety regulations for young children.

A lovely trip down memory lane to a time when children generally created their own entertainment and toys were not so high tech as today.

First Edition 1966 with price of 2/6, two shillings and sixpence in old pocket money.

This is fresh from the attic in very good vintage condition. Some very minor shelfwear and rubbing to the edges of the boards barely noticeable and a little bumping to corners.

Spine intact but slightly scuffed.

Previous Child owners name stamped with an old fashioned printing kit on a preliminary page but all other pages are clean and good.

Matt boards are very good. A few scattered small marks to the interior and

reverse of the book. Nice Reading copy and Very Good Vintage collectible Ladybird Children's Book.

Please remember this vintage book has been loved before and is not new condition is graded taking this into consideration.
