Charmingly Illustrated "Little One's Book of Prayers" by Mabel Lucie Attwell. Lovely vintage children's book by this famous illustrator. First Edition 1975.

This wonderful little children's book from the 1970's is a sweet book of prayers for bedtime and other occasions. The prayers in verse are on the whole lighthearted and sweet and aimed at young children.

Every page is profusely illustrated with the utterly enchanting illustrations of cheeky children and sweet little animals that made Mabel Lucie Attwell's vintage books phenomenally popular throughout the 20th century.

Rare editions of Mabel Lucie Attwell's books are still highly collectable today. This book is a first edition from 1975 so is one of the later books to come from this artist. Still it is in surprisingly good condition for these oh so popular children's books that were part of the childhood of so many children growing up in the 1970's era and the truth is many of the parents loved them as much as the children did.

This charming little children's book by Mabel Lucie Attwell speaks of the 1970's era with her happy little children and the cute animals and pets.

This is a book of prayers in verse aimed at a Christian audience, it includes a prayer for Grace, The Lord's Prayer, as well as several other sweet everyday prayers aimed at children with simple words and sweet sentiments.

Every page is so beautifully illustrated you could actually frame them individually as prints for a child's room.

Condition Notes: VERY GOOD

Considering this Mabel Lucie Attwell book was published in the 1970's it has survived in excellent condition.

The glossy binding has some very light wear but the boards and pages are all excellent in general.

A slight bump to the top of the spine but no cracks splits or tears of any kind.

The spine is good and not frayed at the hinges, just slightly faded compared to the boards.

The book is free from any names or scribbles.

Please remember this vintage book has been loved before and is not new condition is graded taking this into consideration.
