Text block is firm and spine good, dust cover is a bit grubby round the edges but otherwise in great condition for a Scarce Dust Cover nearly a century old.

Typically of books of this era the pages are heavily tanned, Internal pages are free of foxing.

No inscriptions scribbles, colouring in or any kind of other graffiti anywhere in the book.

Cloth binding is in good condition underneath the jacket with titles intact and good.

Priced accordingly. Book Measures: 7" inches x 4.5" x 1/2" inch. Nice Collectible Cow Boy Book. Scarce in any condition with Genuine and Original Dust Cover intact.

This appears to be a first edition and is scarce in the original wrapper.

"An ominous, brooding hush suddenly blanketed the customers of the Elk Pleasure Palace. Play at the gambling tables ceased abruptly and men's eyes became riveted on the three figures at the bar. Glasses were either gripped tightly in knotted fingers or pushed aside as if the purchaser has lost all interest in wetting the dryness of his throat. Red Kyles tapering hands, sun-cooked, dun coloured, were hanging loosely at his sides, the fingers close to the walnut stocked butts of his Colts. His brown eyes narrowed to slits, were concentrating on the close-set beady black ones of the scarred and pockmarked man facing him, Cyanide Potter."
