I wish these wonderful big glossy books with their full colour illustrations had been around when I was a child as I would have been enchanted, having said that even the simple black and white line drawn illustrations of Pauline Baynes were enough to send any child on a wonderful journey of imagination.

This gift book from 2000 is a lovely collectable edition of this classic children's story, in the large appealing and enduring hardback format perfect to enjoy and treasure for years to come.
