A wonderful and quite scarce now, Deluxe Edition of the Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit Tale, in unread and beautiful conditon for a vintage book that was published in 1993.

This would make a marvellous gift for a baby shower or birthday or delightful Christmas gift to introduce your little one to the enchanting world of Peter Rabbit stories.

This exquisite special edition marks the centenary of when the letter the tale of Peter Rabbit is based on was first written in 1893 being published as century later in 1993.

A proper little heirloom quality book a child could treasure for a life time. I wish I had one this beautiful when I first read the timeless Peter Rabbit tales by Beatrix Potter. I would have treasured it for a lifetime.

Excerpt from this vintage Peter Rabbit book:

"'Now, my dears,' said old Mrs Rabbit one morning 'you may go into the fields or down the lane, but don't go into Mr McGregor's garden. 'Your Father had an accident there; he was put in a pie by Mrs McGregor.'

'Now run along and don't get into mischief. I am going out.'

Then old Mrs. Rabbit took a basket an her umbrella, and went through the wood to the baker's. She bought a loaf of bread and five currant buns. Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail who were good little bunnies, went down the lane to gather blackberries..."
