This is fresh from the attic in very good condition .

Red boards underneath the jacket fresh and bright with just slight pushing to the top of the spine.

Robust condition. Interior pages are all clean and firm just the usual slight tanning through age and slight dust staining to the top of the text block.

No Foxing.

A gift inscription dated 1956 under the dust jacket front flap, and a name with a small penmark written on a preliminary page.

The dust jacket has very minor shelf wear a tiny bit of fraying in places and a few tiny tears and a bit of scuffing to the corners. (Please see photos).

Mild shelf wear overall very good indeed for this type of vintage classic book from the 1950's that usually end up jacket-less and very well loved!
