Dinah worked for the BBC school Broadcasting Department in London and also for Radio Bristol in the 1970's.

She produced and presented children's programmes. Later she went on to teach at a junior school in Wiltshire and produce programmes for Swansea Sound.

She also wrote another book called 'Witches, Dragons and Buried Treasure, a collection of traditional Folk Tales from Somerset.
