Super Vintage Book Alice in Wonderland,Large Format Book Beautifully illustrated by Rene Cloke.

This vintage Alice in Wonderland book has the delightful Rene Cloke illustrations of Alice, first used in 1943. Rene illustrated Enid Blyton Books and was a renowned illustrator of Children's Books with her beautiful and sweet nostalgic style.

Rene's full colour illustrations of Alice are equally charming in their own way to those of John Tenniel, Alice just kind of looks a bit more 1940's than Victorian in this book but is still very sweet!

This is the reissue of the Rene Cloke first illustrated edition from the 1940's. Typical Glossy board covers of a large format book lavishly illustrated including the full scenic endpapers.
