Kittys Notes & Book Snippet

"'Digitoxin,' said Poirot, 'is a heart poison, is it not?'

The words came at last -- in a soft, husky, but penetrating voice. Mrs Boynton's basilisk eyes looked, not at Sarah, but oddly over her shoulder. She seemed to address, not Sarah, but some familiar spirit.

'I never forget,' she said. 'Remember that. I've never forgotten anything -- not an action, not a name, not a face...'

Perplexing words --but Hercule Poirot knew their devilish meaning!"

This slightly shabby survivor a vintage Pan Paperback edition from the 1950s offers a unique reading experience, allowing fans of classic crime fiction to immerse themselves in the world of Agatha Christie's iconic detective, Hercule Poirot. As you turn the pages of this timeless thriller, be prepared to join Poirot in solving a murder that will test his deductive powers to the limit.

Condition & Dimensions

GOOD:

We carefully tailor all our condition notes to the actual book you see in the photographs so please read below:

This is fresh from the attic in good vintage condition.

A typical pulp paperback edition that is slightly shabby and very heavily tanned but considering its age for a paperback over half a century now still holding together well.

The book has obvious signs of having been read before but overall still robust.

Pictorial card wraps still firm with just a few small marks and creases. Very slightly scuffed to extremities with some small watermarks here and there to the text block.

Spine Intact and good with titles visible with some creasing but not cracked. Slightly cocked from having been read or crammed in a bookshelf.

No names or inscriptions or graffiti of any kind written in the book but no. '9' written in pencil on a preliminary page and some incomprehensible graffiti on the back cover.

Not as bad as it sounds (please see photos).

Fun Vintage 1950's edition of this classic Agatha Christie Book.

Please remember this vintage book has been loved before and condition is graded taking this into consideration.
