This lovely vintage Ladybird Children's Book of Prayers Through the Year, is exquisitely illustrated with gorgeous nostalgic painterly illustrations set in the 1960's era this book was first published. There are a variety of wonderful and simple prayers for your child to recite tailored towards each month of the year. 

For example, in October we have a prayer called 'Autumn Colours' and then a nice little snippet of information about what happens in the month of October accompanied by a charming illustration of two children watching a Red Squirrel in Woodland.

Even if you are not religious by nature this lovely book provides pointers as to what we can be grateful for in life on this earth with its beautiful wildlife and nature, as the seasons pass us by. The book ends with December so as to be expected a sweet Nativity Scene

The vintage illustrations really are quite a delight, obviously set in an England of the 1960's and 1970's that no longer exists but a beautiful trip down memory lane.

If you had this book as a child how lovely to relive it with your own child or grandchildren

This is a beautifully pristine edition of this book considering it dates from the 1970's it is almost like new except for a few small marks to the rear including where a price label has been removed.

Hard to find these beautiful vintage Ladybird Children's book in such smart condition, a real little treasure for someone to love.

This is fresh from the attic in Excellent very nearly as new condition .

The matt boards are a little rubbed at the corners and slightly bumped at the top and bottom of the spine.

There a few minor marks on the rear cover including a tiny loss where a price label was.

All the pages are bright and clean with no messy graffiti of any kind, completely uncreased and fresh.

Spine Intact with titles visible and tiniest bit of wear to top and bottom of spine.

Original Price of 24p on back board.
