These sweet little daffodil yellow Rupert Bear Books are perfect to collect.

Each delightful Rupert the Bear Tale is illustrated throughout on every page with the original Mary Tourtel line drawings of Rupert and his various friends that feature in each story.

Every story is told in verse that makes them such fun to read to your children.

This Rupert Little Bear Library series that was published in the 1970's eventually had 18 stories in total published between 1973 to 1975 and were available exclusively from Woolworth's stores in England.

Of course the iconic store 'Woolworths' sadly are no longer on the High Street and these sweet little vintage Rupert Books are now a trip down memory lane.

Many children used to eagerly save up their pocket money for the few pennies required to buy them.

A lovely fun read.

This is fresh from the attic in very good vintage condition.

The yellow glossy pictorial boards are except for a few tiny bumps / blemishes to edges and spine.

All the pages are firm and clean with no messy graffiti of any kind. Pages however are heavily tanned with age due to the type of stiff card paper used in production.

Some very minor dust staining to the top of the text block.

This is only the second book of this series from Woolworths and is becoming surprisingly hard to find.

Spine Intact with titles visible and minor wear.
