Kittys Notes & Book Snippet
"After nearly forty years of writing about espionage, battles, international intrigue and gun fights, what a challenge it was to produce this kind of book! Who other than the 'Prince of Storytellers' could have done it?
Again he gives us those graphic descriptions of far countries in which he has travelled, twist after twist in the plot, pages of agonising suspense and ever rising excitement until it is not prison but death that stalks brave and lovely Linda -- then a magnificent denouement. "
Dennis Wheatley consistently good in this super vintage classic thriller book that is a sideways move from his Roger Brook, Gregory Sallust and Black Magic novels but equally on a par in the excitement stakes.
Other highly popular series by the Dennis Wheatley were the:
•The Black Magic Series
•The Roger Brook Series
•The Gregory Sallust Series
•The Duke de Richleau Series
•The Molly Fountain Series
•The Julian Day Series
•The Lost World Series
Well worth a read if you love Dennis Wheatley books and these classic 20th century thriller novels.
