This endearing series of children's fantasy tales was written by Clive Staples Lewis, an eminent Oxford Professor inspired during his connection with the famous literary society "The Inklings". A group that included luminaries such as J. R. R. Tolkien.

The gentle and lovely children's fantasy tales started with the little girl Lucy Pevensie hiding in a wardrobe, with his masterpiece of children's fantasy fiction 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' that was first published in 1950.

This omnibus edition combines all the wonderful Narnia tales and is actually quite hard to find in such bright fresh condition as this and the true first printing by Harper Collins, not a lesser book club edition.

A great one to add to a collection of important vintage children's books and the pleasure is all yours if you read it, especially together with a child.

This vintage C. S. Lewis first edition omnibus complete with all of "The Chronicles of Narnia" is in excellent previously treasured condition.

All the pages are sharp and clean with no messy graffiti or inscriptions of any kind just very slightly tanned with age to the exterior of the text block.

Glossy pictorial binding under the attractive dust jacket is in excellent condition with just a few tiny wrinkles to the top and bottom of the spine. A small wrinkle to the inner flap that is not price clipped.

A small foxed patch to the bottom rear interior of the back of the dust jacket that does not stain or penetrate anywhere and is not visible on the glossy exterior of the dust jacket anywhere.

No stains or marks or foxing on any of the pages or text block which is still tight with the mildest of shelfwear.
