We find ourselves in the year 1919, just after World War one and about to meet the exciting and adventurous amateur sleuths Tommy and Tuppence. This novel is the first outing of these favourite characters in the Agatha Christie books. Although not as well know as Inspector Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, these two young investigators are just as much fun.

All in all, this classic Agatha Christie novel makes a delicious vintage romp, stuffed full of thrilling espionage, dangerous missions and critical secrets of the British government at stake with just Tommy and Tuppence to save the day. 

This book is in fine condition and makes a decorative addition to any vintage crime fiction collection with the attractive facsimile binding of the Collins Crime Club first edition that was originally published in 1922.
