A charming book with not unexpected air of shabbiness (Like Father Brown) considering its age for a paperback over half a century now still holding together well.

Pages tanned. Few age speckles to intro page but rest of pages just typically tanned and fresh and clean overall.

Pictorial card wraps still fairly firm but scuffed to extremities and a few minor marks and creases as per photos.

Spine Intact and excellent (not cracked/creased) with titles visible.

Gift inscription from a father to a son on intro page part of the books history dated 1970 when the book was first published.
